TNRC6A Antibody

TNRC6A is a member of the trinucleotide repeat containing 6 protein family. The protein functions in post-transcriptional gene silencing through the RNA interference (RNAi) and microRNA pathways. The protein associates with messenger RNAs and Argonaute proteins in cytoplasmic bodies known as GW-bodies or P-bodies. Inhibiting expression of this gene delocalizes other GW-body proteins and impairs RNAi and microRNA-induced gene silencing.This gene encodes a member of the trinucleotide repeat containing 6 protein family. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store TNRC6A antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

TNRC6A antibody can be used for detection of TNRC6A by ELISA at 1:62500. TNRC6A antibody can be used for detection of TNRC6A by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
