SMNDC1 Antibody

This gene is a paralog of SMN1 gene, which encodes the survival motor neuron protein, mutations in which are cause of autosomal recessive proximal spinal muscular atrophy. SMNDC1 is a nuclear protein that has been identified as a constituent of the spliceosome complex. This gene is differentially expressed, with abundant levels in skeletal muscle, and may share similar cellular function as the SMN1 gene. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store SMNDC1 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

SMNDC1 antibody can be used for detection of SMNDC1 by ELISA at 1:1562500. SMNDC1 antibody can be used for detection of SMNDC1 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
