JMJD6 Antibody

JMJD6 is a nuclear protein with a JmjC domain. JmjC domain-containing proteins are predicted to function as protein hydroxylases or histone demethylases. This protein was first identified as a putative phosphatidylserine receptor involved in phagocytosis of apoptotic cells; however, subsequent studies have indicated that it does not directly function in the clearance of apoptotic cells, and questioned whether it is a true phosphatidylserine receptor.This gene encodes a nuclear protein with a JmjC domain. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store JMJD6 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

JMJD6 antibody can be used for detection of JMJD6 by ELISA at 1:312500. JMJD6 antibody can be used for detection of JMJD6 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
