TRIM22 Antibody

TRIM22 is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. It localizes to the cytoplasm and its expression is induced by interferon. The protein down-regulates transcription from the HIV-1 LTR promoter region, suggesting that function of this protein may be to mediate interferon's antiviral effects. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store TRIM22 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

TRIM22 antibody can be used for detection of TRIM22 by ELISA at 1:1562500. TRIM22 antibody can be used for detection of TRIM22 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
