RFX2 Antibody

RFX2 is a member of transcription factors that contain a highly-conserved winged helix DNA binding domain. RFX2 is structurally related to regulatory factors X1, X3, X4, and X5. It is a transcriptional activator that can bind DNA as a monomer or as a heterodimer with other RFX family members. This protein can bind to cis elements in the promoter of the IL-5 receptor alpha gene.This gene is a member of the regulatory factor X gene family, which encodes transcription factors that contain a highly-conserved winged helix DNA binding domain. The protein encoded by this gene is structurally related to regulatory factors X1, X3, X4, and X5. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene, and both variants utilize alternative polyadenylation sites.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store RFX2 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

RFX2 antibody can be used for detection of RFX2 by ELISA at 1:1562500. RFX2 antibody can be used for detection of RFX2 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
