SSX6 Antibody

SSX6 belongs to the family of highly homologous synovial sarcoma X (SSX) breakpoint proteins. These proteins may function as transcriptional repressors. They are also capable of eliciting spontaneously humoral and cellular immune responses in cancer patients, and are potentially useful targets in cancer vaccine-based immunotherapy.The product of this gene belongs to the family of highly homologous synovial sarcoma X (SSX) breakpoint proteins. SSX1, SSX2 and SSX4 genes have been involved in the t (X;18) translocation characteristically found in all synovial sarcomas. This gene appears not to be involved in this type of chromosome translocation.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store SSX6 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

SSX6 antibody can be used for detection of SSX6 by ELISA at 1:1562500. SSX6 antibody can be used for detection of SSX6 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
