VSX1 Antibody

VSX1 contains a paired-like homeodomain and binds to the core of the locus control region of the red/green visual pigment gene cluster. VSX1 may regulate expression of the cone opsin genes early in development. Mutations in VSX1 can cause posterior polymorphous corneal dystrophy and keratoconus. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store VSX1 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

VSX1 antibody can be used for detection of VSX1 by ELISA at 1:62500. VSX1 antibody can be used for detection of VSX1 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
