GABRA5 Antibody

GABA is the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the mammalian brain where it acts at GABA-A receptors, which are ligand-gated chloride channels. Chloride conductance of these channels can be modulated by agents such as benzodiazepines that bind to the GABA-A receptor. At least 16 distinct subunits of GABA-A receptors have been identified. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store GABRA5 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

GABRA5 antibody can be used for detection of GABRA5 by ELISA at 1:312500. GABRA5 antibody can be used for detection of GABRA5 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
