SHOX2 Antibody

SHOX2 is a member of the homeo box family of genes that encode proteins containing a 60-amino acid residue motif that represents a DNA binding domain. Homeo box genes have been characterized extensively as transcriptional regulators involved in pattern formation in both invertebrate and vertebrate species. Several human genetic disorders are caused by aberrations in human homeo box genes. SHOX is a pseudoautosomal homeo box gene that is thought to be responsible for idiopathic short stature and implicated to play a role in the short stature phenotype of Turner syndrome patients. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store SHOX2 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

SHOX2 antibody can be used for detection of SHOX2 by ELISA at 1:62500. SHOX2 antibody can be used for detection of SHOX2 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
