Background

EYA1 is a member of the eyes absent (EYA) family of proteins. EYA1 may play a role in the developing kidney, branchial arches, eye, and ear. Mutations of this gene have been associated with branchiootorenal dysplasia syndrome, branchiootic syndrome, and sporadic cases of congenital cataracts and ocular anterior segment anomalies. A similar protein in mice can act as a transcriptional activator.This gene encodes a member of the eyes absent (EYA) family of proteins. Applications Notes

EYA1 antibody can be used for detection of EYA1 by ELISA at 1:312500. EYA1 antibody can be used for detection of EYA1 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000. EYA1 antibody can be used for detection of EYA1 by IHC starting at 5 ug/ml.
