The Cypress Diagnostics kit Urea is an in vitro diagnostic medical device intended to be used for the quantitative measurement of urea in human serum or plasma. The device is not automated. The measurement of urea is intended to be used for the evaluation of kidney function as part of a routine health check-up (screening), as an aid in diagnosis of kidney disease and for the monitoring of the effectiveness of dialysis.
