Z-AEVD-FMK is a caspase-10 inhibitor. Z-AEVD-FMK can inhibit the activation of Bid and the release of apoptosis-inducing factor (AIF) in mitochondria in cells, resulting in a significant decrease in the number of apoptotic cells[1][2].
