Anti H (A2)
Monoclonal agglutinating Anti-H (A2) –test serum is produced from cell culture supernatants of a hybridoma-cell line. The cells are secreting an antibody, that reacts specific with H-substance. The test serum is used to determine whether red blood cells are type A1 or A2. There is no free H-substance on A1A1-bloods. A1B-, A1O- and especially BO-types have residual amounts of H-substance and show weak reactions with Anti-H. Strong reactions occur with A2-types or weaker A-types. As defined strongest reaction are seen with O-bloods.
