Involved in regulating spatially segregated organellar RNA processing, acts as a coordinator of nucleo-mitochondrial crosstalk (PubMed:31081026) . In nucleolus, processes pre-ribosomal RNA involved in ribosome assembly and alters cytoplasmic translation.
