Protects against Salmonella bacterial infection. Attenuates processes such as macropinocytosis, phagocytosis and cell migration and restrict sopE-mediated bacterial entry (PubMed:31285585) . Restricts also infection mediated by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Listeria monocytogenes (PubMed:31285585) .
