TM4SF2/TSPAN7 Protein, Cynomolgus, Recombinant (His Tag)

TALLA-1, also known as TSPAN7, is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily Most members of this family are cell-surface proteins that are characterized by the presence of four hydrophobic domains. TALLA-1 gene is associated with X-linked mental retardation and neuropsychiatric diseases such as Huntington's chorea, fragile X syndrome and myotonic dystrophy. TALLA-1 is a cell surface glycoprotein and may have a role in the control of neurite outgrowth. It is known to complex with integrins.

The recombinant cynomolgus TSPAN7 comprises 121 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 14 KDa. The apparent molecular mass of it is approximately 20-28 KDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

In general, recombinant proteins are provided as lyophilized powder which are shipped at ambient temperature. Bulk packages of recombinant proteins are provided as frozen liquid. They are shipped out with blue ice unless customers require otherwise. Stable for 1 year at -20°C or below from date of shipment. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and opening the cap. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
