PTGFRN Protein, Cynomolgus, Recombinant (His Tag)

EWI-F, also known as PTGFRN, is inversely related to the loss of CD9. Its expression correlates with the metastatic status of hLT. EWI-F inhibits the binding of prostaglandin F2-alpha (PGF2-alpha) to its specific FP receptor, by decreasing the receptor number rather than the affinity constant. EWI-F expression positively correlates with the metastatic status of hLT, and that the upregulation of EWI-F expression could be one of the mechanisms underlying the loss of CD9 in solid tumours.

The recombinant cynomolgus PTGFRN comprises 816 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 91.5 KDa. The apparent molecular mass of it is approximately 96-106 KDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

In general, recombinant proteins are provided as lyophilized powder which are shipped at ambient temperature. Bulk packages of recombinant proteins are provided as frozen liquid. They are shipped out with blue ice unless customers require otherwise. Stable for 1 year at -20°C or below from date of shipment. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and opening the cap. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
