The recombinant human CD32a/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimeric protein. The reduced monomer consists of 426 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 47.3 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the apparent molecular mass of rh CD32a/Fc monomer is approximately 55 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Ile 218) of human CD32a (AAA35827.1) was fused with the Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus. It is identical to FCGR2A131H/R in the reference.
