CD155/PVR Protein, Human, Recombinant (ECD, hFc Tag)

CD155, commonly known as PVR (poliovirus receptor) and Necl-5 (nectin-like molecule-5), is a type I transmembrane single-span glycoprotein, and belongs to the nectins and nectin-like (Necl) subfamily. CD155 was originally identified based on its ability to mediate the cell attachment and entry of poliovirus (PV), an etiologic agent of the central nervous system disease poliomyelitis. The normal cellular function is in the establishment of intercellular adherens junctions between epithelial cells. CD155 may assist in an efficient humoral immune response generated within the intestinal immune system. It has been demonstrated that CD155 can be recognized and bond by DNAM-1 and CD96 which promote the adhesion, migration and NK-cell killing, and thus efficiently prime cell-mediated tumor-specific immunity.

Immobilized human CD226 His (Cat: PH50057M2) at 2 μg/mL (100 μl/well) can bind human CD155 hFc (Cat: PH50960M4), The ECof bind human CD155 hFc is 100-800 ng/mL. 2. Immobilized TIGIT Protein, Human, Recombinant (ECD, His Tag) (Cat:PH52206M2) at 2 μg/ml (100 μl/well) can bind CD155/PVR Protein, Human, Recombinant (ECD, hFc Tag) (Cat:PH50960M4), the ECof CD155/PVR Protein, Human, Recombinant (ECD, hFc Tag) is 25-140 ng/mL.

The recombinant human CD155/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer consists of 561 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 61.8 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the rhCD155/Fc monomer migrates as approximately 95-105 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

In general, recombinant proteins are provided as lyophilized powder which are shipped at ambient temperature. Bulk packages of recombinant proteins are provided as frozen liquid. They are shipped out with blue ice unless customers require otherwise. Stable for 1 year at -20°C or below from date of shipment. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and opening the cap. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met1-Asn343) of human CD155 (P15151-1) was expressed with the C-terminal fused Fc region of human IgG1.
