14-3-3 eta/YWHAH Protein, Human, Recombinant (GST Tag)

YWHAH, the gene encoding the 14-3-3eta isoform, is highly expressed in retinal ganglion cells (RGC) . YWHAH is a positional and functional candidate gene for both schizophrenia and bipolar disorder (BP) . It is located on chromosome 22q12.3, a region that has been implicated by linkage studies in both BP and schizophrenia.

The recombinant human YWHAH/GST chimera consists of 476 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 55 kDa as estimated in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

They are shipped out with blue ice unless customers require otherwise. Stable for 1 year at -20°C or below from date of shipment.
