Immunogen
The immunogen for anti-IKK alpha antibody: antibody was raised against a peptide corresponding to amino acids 658 to 674 of human IKK alpha, which differs from corresponding murine sequence by one amino acid.
Target
(C3) Ikappa B kinase alpha

Polyclonal
Conjugation
FITC: Fluorescein Isothiocyanate
Type
Polyclonal Antibody
Applications
ELISA, WB, ICC
Purification
Affinity chromatography purified via peptide column

1 mg/mL
Homology
Human
Format
Liquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer.
Reconstitution
All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil) . Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
Shipping Conditions
Wet Ice
Specificity
This polyclonal antibody has no cross response to IKKb or IKKy.
Applications Notes
IKK alpha antibody can be used for detection of IKK alpha by Western blot at 1:500 to 1:1000 dilution. An 85 kDa band should be detected. This polyclonal antibody has no cross response to IKKb or IKKy. (Optimal dilution should be determined by user)
