Apaf1 Antibody : FITC (OAPB00040-FITC)

The immunogen for anti-Apaf1 antibody: antibody was raised against a peptide corresponding to amino acids near the carboxy terminus of human Apaf1. The sequence of the immunogenic peptide differs from that of murine Apaf1 by one amino acid.

All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil) . Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.

Apaf1 antibody can be used for detection of Apaf1 by Western blot at 0.5 - 1 ug/ml. Human heart tissue lysate can be used as positive control and a 130 kDa band should be detected. Apaf1 antibody is human, mouse and rat reactive. (Optimal dilution should be determined by user)
