Swiss Prot
P42771
Accession Number
NP_000068.1
Host
Rabbit
Reactivity
Human
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived between 107-156 amino acids from the C-Terminal region of human p16-INK4a around the phosphorylation site of Ser152.
Clonality
Polyclonal
Conjugation
Biotin
Type
Polyclonal Antibody
Applications
WB, IHC, ELISA
Purification
The antibody was purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using phospho peptide. The antibody against non-phospho peptide was removed by chromatography using corresponding non-phospho peptide.
Concentration
1 mg/mL
Dilution
The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user.
Format
Liquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer.
Reconstitution
All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil) . Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
Molecular Weight
16 kD
Shipping Conditions
Wet Ice
Fragment
IgG
Specificity
P16-INK4a (Phospho-Ser152) antibody detects endogenous levels of p16-INK4a only when phosphorylated at serine 152.
