YWHAE Antibody - middle region : Biotin (AVARP02058_P050-Biotin)

YWHAE is an adapter protein implicated in the regulation of a large spectrum of both general and specialized signaling pathway. YWHAE binds to a large number of partners, usually by recognition of a phosphoserine or phosphothreonine motif. The binding generally results in the modulation of the activity of the binding partner.This gene product belongs to the 14-3-3 family of proteins which mediate signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins. This highly conserved protein family is found in both plants and mammals, and this protein is 100% identical to the mouse ortholog. It interacts with CDC25 phosphatases, RAF1 and IRS1 proteins, suggesting its role in diverse biochemical activities related to signal transduction, such as cell division and regulation of insulin sensitivity. All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil) . Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
