Nppc Antibody - C-terminal region : FITC (ARP57660_P050-FITC)

This gene encodes a member of the natriuretic peptide family. Natriuretic peptides are involved in the control of blood pressure, extracellular fluid volume and electrolyte homeostasis. The encoded protein also plays a role in sensory neuron bifurcation, and is a critical regulator of endochondral bone growth. The encoded protein is a ligand for the natriuretic peptide receptor B, and is synthesized as a preprohormone which is cleaved to produce a mature peptide. Mutations in this gene are associated with dwarfism resulting from impaired endochondral ossification.

All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil) . Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
