ALG2 Antibody - C-terminal region : Biotin (ARP48974_P050-Biotin)

ALG2 is a member of the glycosyltransferase 1 family. It acts as an alpha 1,3 mannosyltransferase, mannosylating Man (2) GlcNAc (2) -dolichol diphosphate and Man (1) GlcNAc (2) -dolichol diphosphate to form Man (3) GlcNAc (2) -dolichol diphosphate. Defects in this gene have been associated with congenital disorder of glycosylation type Ih (CDG-Ii) .This gene encodes a member of the glycosyltransferase 1 family. All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil) . Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
