Target

L-glutamate dehydrogenase (EC 1.4.1.3) has a central role in nitrogen metabolism in plants and animals. Glutamate dehydrogenase is found in all organisms and catalyzes the oxidative deamination of 1-glutamate to 2-oxoglutarate. Glutamate, the main substrate of GLUD, is present in brain in concentrations higher than in other organs. In nervous tissue, GLUD appears to function in both the synthesis and the catabolism of glutamate and perhaps in ammonia detoxification. L-glutamate dehydrogenase (EC 1.4.1.3) has a central role in nitrogen metabolism in plants and animals. Reconstitution

All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil) . Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
