HFE Antibody - C-terminal region: Biotin (ARP44285_P050-Biotin)

HFE is a membrane protein that is similar to MHC class I-type proteins and associates with beta2-microglobulin (beta2M) . It is thought that this protein functions to regulate iron absorption by regulating the interaction of the transferrin receptor with transferrin. At least eleven alternatively spliced variants have been described for this gene. Additional variants have been found but their full-length nature has not been determined.

All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil) . Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
