Immunogen
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the C-terminal region of Human LDB1
Target
LDB1 binds to the LIM domain of a wide variety of LIM domain- containing transcription factors. It may regulate the transcriptional activity of LIM-containing proteins by determining specific partner interactions. It plays a role in the development of interneurons and motor neurons in cooperation with LHX3 and ISL1. And it acts synergistically with LHX1/LIM1 in axis formation and activation of gene expression. It acts with LMO2 in the regulation of red blood cell development, maintaining erythroid precursors in an immature state.

Reconstitution
All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil) . Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
