Cacng8 Antibody - middle region : Biotin (ARP35367_P050-Biotin)

Cacng8 regulates the trafficking and gating properties of AMPA-selective glutamate receptors (AMPARs) . It promotes their targeting to the cell membrane and synapses and modulates their gating properties by slowing their rates of activation, deactivation and desensitization and by mediating their resensitization. Cacng8 does not show subunit-specific AMPA receptor regulation and regulates all AMPAR subunits. Cacng8 is thought to stabilize the calcium channel in an inactivated (closed) state.

All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil) . Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
