Immunogen
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the middle region of human TBX2
Target
This gene is a member of a phylogenetically conserved family of genes that share a common DNA-binding domain, the T-box. T-box genes encode transcription factors involved in the regulation of developmental processes. TBX2 is the human homolog of mouse Tbx2, and shares strong sequence similarity with Drosophila omb protein. Expression studies indicate that this gene may have a potential role in tumorigenesis as an immortalizing agent. This gene is a member of a phylogenetically conserved family of genes that share a common DNA-binding domain, the T-box. Transcript heterogeneity due to alternative polyadenylation has been noted for this gene. Publication Note: This RefSeq record includes a subset of the publications that are available for this gene. Reconstitution
All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil) . Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
