Talaroterphenyl A
Talaroterphenyl A (compound 1) is a p-terphenyl derivative present in the mangrove sediment-derived fungus Talaromyces sp. SCSIO 41412, which exhibits phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitory activity (IC50=1.2 μM) . Talaroterphenyl A also exhibits anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic activities, significantly reducing the mRNA levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-6, TNF-α, and IL-1β[1].
