Danofloxacin mesylate has a broad spectrum of bactericidal activity, mainly inhibiting the DNA cycloenzyme of the bacteria. In addition, Danofloxacin mesylate is a substrate for ATP-dependent efflux transporters (P-gp and MRP2) [1][2][3].
