Recombinant Human PDGF-BB

Platelet-derived growth factor is a potent mitogen for cells of mesenchymal origin. Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Subunit B may exist either as a homodimer (PDGF-BB) or as a heterodimer with the platelet-derived growth factor alpha polypeptide (PDGF-AB), where the dimers are connected by disulfide bonds. In addition, PDGF-BB is released by platelets upon wounding and plays a more important role in stimulating adjacent cells to grow and thereby heals the wound, among the entire PDGF growth factor family. Recombinant Human PDGF-BB is produced by E.coli expression system, and is produced with raw materials of pharmaceutical applicable level. The host protein residue, nucleic acid residue and common pathogens are strictly controlled, and the production and quality management procedures of the product comply with GMP regulations to ensure the traceability of the production process and all raw materials.
