CREB3L1, Human (HEK293, His)

CREB3L1 protein is located on the endoplasmic reticulum membrane and is converted into a transcription factor processing cyclic AMP response element binding protein 3-like protein 1. During endoplasmic reticulum stress or DNA damage, it translocates to the Golgi apparatus, is cleaved by S1P/MBTPS1 and S2P/MBTPS2, and releases a cytoplasmic domain that activates gene transcription in the nucleus.
