TRP1, Human (HEK293, His)
TRP1 (tyrosinase-related protein 1) is critical in melanin biosynthesis and catalyzes the oxidation of 5,6-dihydroxyindole-2-carboxylic acid (DHICA) to indole-5,6-quinone-2- Carboxylic acids, especially in the presence of Cu (2+) ions. This activity is inhibited by Zn (2+) . TRP1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived TRP1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.
