HAT1 (KAT1), FLAG-Tag Recombinant
Recombinant human full-length HAT1 (histone acetyltransferase 1), also known as KAT1, amino acids 2-419 (end) . This construct contains an N-terminal FLAG-tag. The recombinant protein was affinity purified.
Product Specifications
Background
HAT1 (histone acetyltransferase 1), also known as KAT1, regulates chromatin structure, mitochondrial function, and DNA repair. HAT1 acetylates newly synthesized histones in the cytoplasm and succinylates histones and non-histone proteins. The epigenetic regulation activity of this protein is involved in a wide variety of diseases such as cancer, inflammatory diseases, and viral infections. The development of inhibitors targeting HAT1 may open new therapeutic avenues in those disorders.
