Human Factor XIIa Beta

Product Specifications

UNSPSC Description

Human Factor XIIa Beta is the active fragment of coagulation factor XII, that participates in the intrinsic pathway of coagulation, and leads to the formation of blood clots. Human Factor XIIa Beta also participates in the kinin-generating pathway, which leads to the release of bradykinin (vasodilator). Human Factor XIIa Beta stimulates the release of catecholamines, and mediates its cardiovascular effects through a noncholinergic angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE)-regulated mechanism[1].
