Caspase-1/CASP1 subunit p10 protein is a thiol protease complex involved in inflammation by catalyzing the cleavage of IL1B, IL18, and Gasdermin-D (GSDMD) . It activates a pro-inflammatory response, releases mature cytokines IL1B and IL18, and initiates pyroptosis through cleavage of GSDMD. Caspase-1/CASP1 Protein, Human (T388A, His) is the recombinant human-derived Caspase-1/CASP1, expressed by E. coli, with N-His labeled tag.
