Pantinin-3
Pantinin-3 is an antimicrobial peptide with antitumor activity found in the venom of the emperor scorpion (Pandinus imperator) . Pantinin-3 shows selective toxicity against breast cancer cells (MDA-MB-231) and prostate cancer cells (DU-145) . Pantinin-3 can induce apoptosis in tumor cells. Pantinin-3 can be used in cancer research[1].
