Cyclic AMP-dependent transcription factor ATF-4, Cyclic AMP-Responsive Element-Binding Protein 2, CREB2 or ATF4 is encoded by the gene ATF4 and is a member of the basic leucine-zipper (bZIP) superfamily. ATF4 is a transcriptional activator believed to be involved in many cell processes. ATF4 is widely expressed in tissues. In brain, ATF4 has been shown to localize in hippocampal neuron dendritic membranes. Diseases associated with ATF4 include Deafness, Mehmo Syndrome and T-Cell Leukemia.

Our Anti-ATF4 mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N360A/24. It detects human and rat ATF4, and is purified by protein a chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC.

Each new lot of antibody is quality control tested by western blot on rat whole brain lysate and confirmed to stain the expected molecular weight band.
