Background

Leucine Rich Glioma Inactivated 1 is encoded by the gene LGI1. LGI1 is a member of the secreted leucine-rich repeat (LRR) superfamily. LGI1 may regulate the activity of voltage-gated potassium channels and may be involved in neuronal growth regulation and cell survival. LGI1 is expressed in the brain. Diseases associated with LGI1 include Epilepsy, Familial Temporal Lobe, 1 and Autosomal Dominant Epilepsy with Auditory Features.

Quality Control

Each new lot of antibody is quality control tested by western blot on rat whole brain lysate and confirmed to stain the expected molecular weight band.
