Anti-Alpha-2C Adrenergic Receptor Antibody

Our Anti-Alpha-2C adrenergic receptor mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N330A/80. It is KO validated, detects human and mouse Alpha-2C adrenergic receptor, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC, WB.

Product Specifications

Background

α-2C adrenergic receptor or α-2 Adrenergic Receptor Subtype C4 is encoded by the gene ADRA2C. It belongs to the Adrenergic receptor subfamily of G-protein coupled receptors. α-2C adrenergic receptors mediate catecholamine-induced inhibition of adenylate cyclase by the action of G proteins. α-2C adrenergic is involved in the regulation of neurotransmitter release from sympathetic nerves and adrenergic neurons. α-2C adrenergic receptors are expressed in brain, kidney and heart. Diseases associated with ADRA2C include Raynaud Phenomenon.
