Anti-KChIP2b K+ Channel Antibody

Our Anti-KChIP2b K+ channel mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone K60/73. It detects canine, human, mouse, pig, and rat KChIP2b K+ channel, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in CHiP, IHC, ICC, IP, WB.

Product Specifications

Background

Kv channel-interacting protein 2, Kchip2 potassium channel subunit, or potassium channel auxiliary subunit KCHIP2b is a member of the family of voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channel-interacting proteins (KCNIPs), which belongs to the recoverin or neuronal calcium sensor (NCS) family branch of the EF-hand superfamily. Kchip2 is a calcium binding protein and an integral subunit component of native Kv4 channel complexes. Kchip2 is primarily expressed in heart tissue but is also found in brain. Diseases associated with KCNIP2 include Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type 19/22, Brugada Syndrome, long qt syndrome 1, and dilated cardiomyopathy.
