Anti-Cavbeta1 Ca2+ Channel Antibody

Our Anti-Cavbeta1 Ca2+ channel mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N7/18. It detects human, mouse, non-human primate, and rat Cavbeta1 Ca2+ channel, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC, IP, WB.

Product Specifications

Background

Voltage-dependent L-type calcium channel subunit beta-1 or Cav ß1 is encoded by the gene CACNB1. Cavß1 is a cytoplasmic subunit of L type voltage-sensitive calcium channels. These channels facilitate entry of calcium ions into excitable cells are involved in a variety of calcium dependent processes, including neurotransmitter release, muscle contraction, and gene expression. Cavß1 serves to regulate the activity of L-type calcium channels. Cavß1 expressed in brain, heart, spleen, central nervous system and neuroblastoma cells. Diseases associated with CACNB1 include Malignant Hyperthermia and epileptic encephalopathy.
