Cephapirin (hemibenzathine)
Cephapirin hemibenzathine is an intrauterine-administered, long-acting cephalosporin antibiotic suitable for the anaerobic environment of the postpartum uterus. Cephapirin hemibenzathine effectively improves the recovery of postpartum buffaloes with subclinical endometritis (SCE) and enhances their reproductive performance. Cephapirin hemibenzathine can be used for the study of subclinical endometritis in postpartum buffaloes[1][2].
