2,7-Dichlorodihydrofluorescein (DCFH) is a cell-permeable, non-fluorescent probe that becomes highly fluorescent DCF upon oxidation by intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) . It is widely used in vitro and in vivo to detect ROS production, oxidative stress, and redox signaling in fields like neurobiology, immunology, and toxicology.
