5 (6) -Carboxy-2′,7′-dichlorofluorescein diacetate
5 (6) -Carboxy-2’,7’-dichlorofluorescein diacetate is a cell-permeable, non-fluorescent probe used to detect reactive oxygen species (ROS) and nitric oxide (NO) . Intracellular esterases cleave the acetate groups, yielding a fluorescent product upon oxidation, with Ex/Em of 504/530 nm. It is widely applied in oxidative stress research in both cellular (in vitro) and whole-organism (in vivo) models.
