5-CFDA
5-CFDA is a cell-permeant esterase substrate that is hydrolyzed intracellularly to the fluorescent tracer 5-carboxyfluorescein. It is widely used for in vitro cell labeling, including studies of intervertebral disc cells, and in assays for cell viability, proliferation, and cytoplasmic tracking in live-cell imaging.
