5-ROX
5-Carboxy-X-rhodamine (5-ROX) is a bright, water-soluble fluorescent dye with an excitation maximum at 580 nm (ε=3.6x104 M−1cm−1) and emission at 604 nm (Φ=0.94) . It is widely used as a fluorescent tracer and label for in vitro assays, nucleic acid detection, and live-cell imaging applications due to its high quantum yield and photostability.
